I have always hoped that my work will keep events, pastimes and ceremonies of a people in transition to not forget where we were, a derivative of the past. To give those who were born in a later time a glimpse into the lives of a people who had a way of life that is changing... “A VANISHING AFRICA”.
I love this work. I bought a print of one of your paintings at the art show at Washington Square Park in NYC two years ago. I bought another one this past year. I put the first one in to be framed and it was lost! I'm broken-hearted, it was so incredibly beautiful that I'm haunted by the loss and find myself here on the web trying to find you! If there's any chance I could get the opportunity to buy that print again, I would be very grateful. It was in tones of blue and it was a woman in a cape ... similar to the very blue-toned picture you have on the web with two women. I would love to hear from you. Either way, you're work is wonderful and inspiring.
